Polar Protection was founded in Toronto by veterans of the guarding industry who kept seeing the same failures: unfilled shifts, untrained officers, and reports that told clients nothing. We started with a simple promise — show up, every time, with people you'd trust in your own building — and grew from a handful of condominium contracts into a full-service security company serving clients across Ontario and beyond.

We chose the polar bear deliberately. It's Canada's apex guardian: patient, intelligent, unshakeable in conditions that break everything else. That's the temperament we hire for and the standard we train to — calm professionalism first, decisive action when it counts.

Today, our operations centre dispatches and supervises hundreds of licensed officers around the clock. But every contract, large or small, still gets the founding promise: a named account manager, transparent reporting, and a team that treats your property like our reputation depends on it — because it does.

  First aid & CPR-C, de-escalation and conflict management, use-of-force theory, WHMIS, and report writing — before first deployment.

• Site-specific orientation

  Every officer is trained on your post orders, emergency procedures, and points of contact before working your site unaccompanied.

  Unannounced field inspections, GPS-verified tour compliance, and quarterly performance reviews keep standards from slipping.
